What could be improved

Overall cleanliness, everywhere i looked it was not very clean. Tops of used syringes lying around, stale blood splattered in various places, dirty bed linen. Instead of spending time chatting about what they were going to do that night their time could have been spent cleaning the room after the previous occupant.

Anything else?

Dropped medicine (childs) syringe on floor picked up and still given to the child. Taking the child at 2am for an X-ray even though he had been on the ward all day and they told us at 1pm he would be going for X-ray. Never again will my child be taken to this hospital, even if it means me travelling greater distances
