In a world where large hospitals are turning into Bedlams full of mental health and geriatric patients, this is still an actual hospital, where real nurses who work there all the time on real physical illness take marvellous care of patients, where it is possible to recuperate, where the food is good and the atmosphere is unhurried. I spent about 8 days here after the nightmare of 3 weeks in Derriford. Boy, what a contrast...
