"Excellent care on acute ward from the team"

A family relative was admitted to the acute care ward last week and received fantastic care from everyone who treated him. We are so thankful for the clinician's and nursing staff's medical expertise, time spent with us to patiently explain the treatment plan and the overall kindness shown to the patient and to the whole family in very stressful circumstances. We were made to feel as if the doctors and nurses really cared about delivering patient care. The infectious diseases team's input showed how the clinical teams work together and we were impressed that the hospital had such a facility in house. Thank you to the ward staff and to a and e who acted promptly on admission. Our relative is recovering at home now and we are truly grateful to everyone who looked after him at the Whittington Hospital last week.
