"Read the patient notes for Gods sake!!!"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

The Nurses/Aux do not read the patients notes, especially when dealing with the elderly. They work like robots and the care seems to have gone out of nursing. They dont appear to have any time as staff is cut shorter and shorter. In the notes they will be able to see if they can feed themselves and indeed, if they can see the food visually. If the patient cant, they go hungry and it goes on the notes they took no food. They are hungry!!!! but cant feed themselves anymore..... read the notes!!!! I know I am wasting my time typing this, but its just a way of vetting my disgust in where the NHS is going......... we wont have one soon, it will all be private. Yet again, my Mother has come back witrhout her glasses, in which she depends, everyone blames another. To me, its another £65. In her notes it says she has dementia and as such, has a string around her neck to hold the glasses on. It says this in her notes. She came back home without them and had them at lunchtime that day as I visited then. I am expecting an automated reply with no follow up and no action taken......., thats what happens in your department isnt it? Teflon shoulders!!!
