Went in via ambulance after 111 thought I was having a heart attack. Im 29. I told them that I was loosing my mind and that this was a huge panic attack. Still, the paramedics came. They were very nice and did an ECG and blood pressure test, and took my meds to show the doctors. Didnt offer me any medicine for the pains in my chest or the huge state I was in. Arrived at the hospital and I was in pieces. I thought I was going insane. The nurse got the mental health worker and 20 minutes later I was called in. After a long q & a session, the arrogant Welsh man decided I was not going insane. Despite the fact that I was crying, shaking, moving non-stop I was not once offfered any medicinal help. I was told that I was not going to be given any sleeping pills despite the fact that I told them I never sleep. He told me that I should not keep taking the pills I am on and took them away. After an hour and a half waiting, i was given another ECG. I azked if I could see a doctor to ask for something to help my anxiety. The nurse said she would ask the GP. After 15 minutes she came back and said that the mental health worker had said no and the GP agreed. They suggested I see my GP monday. At this point I stormed out. I am disgusted. They have turned me out, suucidal and hearing voices after taking away my meds and not giving me anything to help. Ive had 9 months on meds and now i have to go through 45 hours without my meds and nothing else to help my suffering. An absolute disgrace. I have never taken Valium or anything similair before. The doctors I saw have absolutely no idea about anxiety attacks. Sort it out. I hope this isnt the last thing I do on the intèrnet. Official complaint to follow.
"thanks for nothing"
