"Waiting for removal of stitches"

About: Greater Manchester Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I am going in for surgery in 2 days and have to try to find someone to remove my stitches 10 days later.

My GP surgery will not deal with it, the district nurses will not offer me any appointments outside of my work hours and no walk in centres will accept me. I have had no help what so ever, and, have decided to remove the stitches myself.

This is the tip of the iceberg of my experiences with the NHS.
