"I felt my care plan was worthless"

About: Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I have had the misfortune to be treated at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Never again.

I felt decisions were continually made about my care without consulting me. I felt my requests were ignored and I felt I was being told what to do all the time with no concern being given to what I was wanting.

Psychologists didn't seem to turn up for meetings, which meant care was disjointed with staff all doing different things and contradicting each other - the doctor would say one thing and the psychologist would say the complete opposite.

The so-called care plan was a laugh - no one seemes to pay any attention to it and nothing on it seemed to be carried out - it looked good and made the staff look efficient but in reality all it was was a worthless piece of paper.

I felt staff were cold and unfriendly and hard to talk to, and I have come out the other end feeling much worse than when I started. I'll stick to pills from my GP in future until this trust improves the way they treat people.
