We travelled from Hatfield to Mount Vernon, which is about half hour away. My boyfriend had an appointment to see a doctor, an oncologist for cancer care.
Firstly this doctor asked my fella if he wanted to be the last member for a trial of a new drug that had been proved quite promising so far, and that he would let him know if he wasn’t able to get him on it. When we turned up for the radiotherapy treatment, he was told they had no idea what he was talking about.
Got home and rang doctor, he said never made any promises and can’t cure him anyway, oh dear never mind!
Made another appointment to see him about this, travelled to the hospital to find out he wasn’t there that day! How bad is that? We are so angry, we had to arrange a taxi to get my kids from school. That cost 20 quid , which we haven’t got.
