Admitted to A&E Walsgrave Hospital Easter Sunday 2013 with suspected TIA

Examining Doctor in triage failed to wash hands before examination.

As there were no radiographers on duty that day I was unable to have a head CT scan.

I self discharged after hanging around on an observation ward. Where I was there seemed to be no Doctors, no nurses and loos running with pee. In my opinion it was a total disgrace and shame on you all at Walsgrave

We were sorry to hear of your experience and that you feel you did not receive good care. It may be helpful to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). PALS is an independent organisation, there to ensure that the NHS listens to patients, their relatives, carers and friends, answers their questions and resolves their concerns as quickly as possible.
