I am prompted to write my story following the Channel 4 Dispatches programme this week.
Patients' experiences on the programme were very much at odds with my experience at Grantham following a broken collar bone.
Throughout my period of treatment, including attendance at A and E, regular appointments at the Fracture Clinic and two operations over the last 18 months, I have nothing but praise for everyone I have come in contact with.
I have always been treated courteously, with respect and good humour, and have been given clear, understandable information. During my two short stays as an in-patient, I couldn't fault the quality of care.
