"excellent care"

About: New Cross Hospital

My husband has been seen by the consultant for some years now and no one could be more caring than him. my husband has only one eye and is obviously very worried about his other eye. On Tuesday he found that he could not see properly out of his good eye and as he is booked for surgery panicked as did I. We telephoned the hospital and the secretary spoke to the consultant and he agreed to see my husband at the end of a very busy clinic. No one could have wished for better care consideration or explanation than we had. We were not made to feel that were were wasting his time and went home feeling reassured that every thing was ok. What a pity the rest of the hospital cannot give such a high standard. The eye hospital will always be our choice however for any other care it will be another hospital. Well done to all the staff at the eye infirmary maybe the general side especially a/e should do some shadowing. We will never be able to thank the consultant enough. Thank you.
