I was very, very impressed with your hospital. Anyone who has to attend a hospital clinic is almost by definition "vulnerable", K clinic on 29th September was faultless. The doctor was great. He made me feel at ease from the very beginning; I answered his questions truthfully, because he inspired trust; he explained everything very clearly; in short, I think he represents the very best of doctors in the NHS. I also noticed that other consultants came out to greet their patients and made them feel comfortable. This was very noticeable, very impressive. The WRVS people at the café were welcoming. What they do is pretty marvellous. (And the tea was excellent!) The receptionists deserve a mention: they were welcoming, smiling and helpful. The "phlebotomists" (Is that the right word?) were well organized and very human. The X-Ray experience was not unpleasant at all. The TV screens were helpful and the messages over the top of the screens did not lie. At all times I felt that I was cared for, that I had some dignity. I would just like to say thank you to a really great hospital, so obviously full of truly caring staff. Regards, John Shemilt Ormskirk
