Having given a glowing review recently for A and E and CDU wards I wish it was the same for the wards. My mum has her meals delivered on a red tray which apparently means she needs help. This is correct as following a recent stroke she has lost all movement on her left so side so what did we find - her food left on her trolley on her left side of the bed. Not even pushed over her bed Also don't bother paying for a TV to relieve the boredom as the staff just turn them off and push them right out of reach. I set up this facility on Monday, the TV was turned off that evening because they said it disturbed the patient in the next side room - neither did they offer to put the ear phones in. I put the TV back on yesterday, apparently it was turned off again and was still off when we arrived this evening. Hopefully mum will be home soon so that we can get her back under the Carers who at least get her out of bed everyday into her chair and understand her limited movement
