"Absolutely Disgusting"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

In March of this year i was admitted with acute abdo pain. I was told that i would need surgery to remove my gall bladder. This eventually took place on 1st April. It ended up as an open surgery. I still don't know what happened despite asking again and again. Although the pain did improve, it didn't go completely. After a couple of return visits, it was eventually decided that i should have an endoscopy and a ct scan. I had the ct scan in july. I am still awaiting the results. I have called the consultant's secretary on numerous occasions, only to be told that he will write to me with the results in due course. I am still waiting. If i hadn't read the results of the endoscopy i probably wouldn't know those either. I have been living on co codamol ever since. The pain is still there and i feel extremley let down. I just hope i am never admitted to Medway again.
