"Operation 18 August 2014"

About: Torbay Hospital

I came to Torbay for an resection of my bowel having had various appointments and scans, and have never yet met an unhelpful member of staff on level 8 outpatients. The op was performed on 18 August 2014, although I had to wait in recovery for a few hours until a bed became free (due to transport problems for a discharged patient), this was not a problem as I was asleep most of the time! I was then transferred to Allerton Ward. Every single member of staff on the ward were hard working, caring and couldn't have done more for me. they all work so hard, maintain a sense of humour (goodness knows how!), and have enduring patience. Thanks also go to my doctor in Gastroenterology for the referral. I am so pleased I live near such an excellent hospital.
