How do elderly people get to see their family if they live out in areas surrounding Burnley not Blackburn, and have to rely on the bus services to get to the hospital. It is a proven fact that having a visit from your family is an advantage to recovery.
In some cases this is not going to be the case as they will be getting no visitors. When my husband was in Blackburn I had to catch the bus to Burnley, the train to Blackburn then the train from the station to the hospital. I could not have done that twice a day like I could if he had been in hospital in Burnley.
"But how do we get to the hospital?"
