What I liked

Staff were generally friendly.

What could be improved

Most things. My wife arrived with symptoms of meningitis including sensitivity to light. After 20 mins she was assessed and then waited an hour to see some sort of nurse. They promised a dimmed cubicle but the supervisor wasn't interested and made her wait in chairs in a really bright area.

Anything else?

Very slow. After a couple of hours there was still several hours wait to even see a doctor (A&E). She'd already seen a doctor earlier that day at our surgery who was more helpful and recommended an IV shot of antibiotics. Apparantly an overnight stay was necessary to even see a doctor at A&E even though she'd been previously assessed and a treatment course recommended. What a waste of our time and taxpayers' money. We have two small kids so working around this disjointed system is particularly stressful. Poor show.
