I attended an appointment through chose and book to see a specialist about having a spinal epidural, i found the reception staff and nursing staff to be very helpful, right from the start they made me feel so welcome. Unfortunately i still had to wait some time to be seen, the specialist then refused to give me the treatment i needed, saying they didn't do that type of epidural, then they said they do it sometimes, then started telling me that people come to get it done because there isn't much waiting time, then they said its because i had seen a previous specialist who had originally diagnosed the treatment, then they said they could do it but would have to send me for more scans etc, even though i said i had all up to date scans and reports with me!?! . My appointment was interrupted by the dr's mobile phone, then again at the end of the appointment, i was in mid conversation when they took the call for the second time, i didn't get the chance to finish the conversation. So now i have to go back to my GP to get referred again, i have to wait another ninety one days just to get a consultation, i am not happy, i feel fobbed off, i was more than happy to pay for the treatment too, i wasn't even offered that even though i suggested it!. I left confused, i wanted to ask more questions but the doctor was too busy on the phone.
