I visited ward 32 cardiac care today 28/09/2014 at dinner time. The nursing I observed there was exemplary. The atmosphere on the ward was cheerful and caring. In particular an elderly female patient was being hand fed by a young nurse with tact understanding and care. The nurse did not rush at all and gave cheerful encouragement throughout. After finishing, the nurse tidied around, made her comfortable and even found a cuddly toy for her to hold. Her grandchild could not have done better. If the nursing standards on this ward is found throughout the hospital, Arrowe Park must be one of the best in the UK.
