I have been trying to chase up an appointment for my foot surgery for ONE WHOLE MONTH. I'm constantly being transferred to different departments and secretaries who simply have no idea about my situation, even though I explain it in simple terms every single time. I have even been told 'it seems as though you may have been overlooked.' I couldn't believe I was being told this. I have given my personal mobile number to two different secretaries who assure me that someone will get back to me that day (it has now been 2 weeks.) I am yet again stuck on the whipps cross switchboard line which is either; too busy or doesn't pick up. I am incredibly frustrated and upset as all I want to know is an estimated date of when I am expected to be operated on. I am in daily pain and at my first appointment where I was initially reviewed I was told I 'was a priority' because of the severity of my foot. This has become a daily struggle to speak to anyone who knows what they are doing! The only reason I need surgery in the first place is because it was done incorrectly when I was child. Appalling.
"AWFUL SWITCHBOARD SERVICE!"
