"This hospital opened 12 months to early"

As an inpatient for some months, we regularly (twice weekly) experienced not enough food being sent to the wards, inappropriate foods being sent to the gastro wards. Not enough, or no bandages for patience recovering from surgery. Patient’s relatives asked to bring medivation from home as the hospital had no stock. Individual rooms soon became nick named solitary confinement. On the issue of medication, it could take up to four hours after asking for pain relief, one nurse used this as a form of control and refused to provide pain relief medication. If attending an outpatient’s appointment, you need to arrive at least an hour before hand in the hope you can find somewhere to park. As to the building, well the construction crews were still building the hospital. But if you look carefully you will notice the slate tiles are already starting to split both horizontally and vertically. In the patience rooms on the wards the following issues occurred: toilets out of use for weeks at a time, the wet room flooring was not installed correctly, so those who used the showers were unwittingly sending the used shower water to the patient’s in the ward’s below (TIP: if you have to go into the hospital as a patient, try to get on the top floor). There is a lot more, but not enough space here.
