"Couldn't have asked for better treatment"

From the moment we arrived in A&E with my 7 month old daughter we received prompt, compassionate, competent care. The nurse in A&E saw us within minutes of our arrival and immediately identified how unwell my 7 month old was, calling the dr and starting to administer treatment. The junior dr was extremely nice and efficient and called the registrar who again arrived promptly. She was moved to resus, where she was treated, stabilised and transferred to willow ward without any delays. Once on willow ward we experienced brilliant care from all the staff. Every staff member we met throughout her stay, from domestic staff, healthcare assistants, nursing staff and drs were friendly, professional and caring. Always introducing themselves, smiling and filling us with confidence in their ability. Not just as a parent of a sick child but as a registered nurse myself I can honestly say there was nothing about the care she received that I could fault or say needs improvement. I hope that the staff that treated her get the praise they deserve. Thank you so much, you are a great example of the NHS working brilliantly.
