"Unhappy with cleanliness at Coventry"

I was told to wet the bed because I couldn’t use the bed pan. Nurses would not help me to the toilet, my husband helped when he came to visit.

Urine was left on the floor in the toilet. I told staff but it was not cleaned up. My visitors cleaned it. Blood leaked from my hand and went on the floor by my bed. This was still there the day I left, even though staff were told repeatedly.

The drugs trolley was left unattended on the ward unlocked. It was very disgusting, no wonder there are bugs in hospital. I felt the nurses who looked after me did not want to know about anything, there was no person centered care at all.

Also I never saw one nurse wash their hands or use the hand gel.
