I had the misfortune of having to go here throughout my pregnancy, to have scans done on the baby. The member of staff who did the scans, was rude and abrupt. What was a really distressing time for us was made a lot more frightening by her uncaring, unsympathetic attitude. During the scan my trousers bottoms weren't pulled down enough so instead of asking me to pull them down she took it upon herself to do so. Making me feel really quite vulnerable as she really pulled them down quite far! (go figure). When i asked her what the outcome would be if the baby was born with defects, she was rude and dismissive and didn't want to discuss it with me. (Hello? This is my child!) I always took someone with me to the appointments because I knew she'd be horrible to me. All staff at this hospital need training on people skills, how to communicate effectively, how to work within a team and how to provide a positive environment, but the majority of the staff want sacking. They don't deserve to work with people who need help at their most vulnerable time.
