"Painful colonoscopy procedure"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I experienced extreme pain throughout the procedure

I was not offered entonox to give me pain relief

I remember every minute of the procedure

They need to re write the colonoscopy information booklet but my experience was the complete opposite

The general treatment by staff was good.
