"Haematology clinic"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

Clinic is run extremely well from receptionist to consultant waiting is kept to the minimum. The consultant has a remarkable memory for his patients even a chance meeting in the street he called me by my first name and knew where I was up to in my treatment. The consultant does not blind you with science he tells you what you want to know without worrying you unnecessarily. He discovered a second cancer in me totally unrelated and that has been sorted. I have been seeing him for 9 years I think that speaks for itself.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are extremely grateful that you have taken the time to provide this feedback. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind sentiments to staff in our Haematology Department. If we can be of further assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 432 0251, email wih-tr.pals@nhs.net or in writing to PALS, Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE.
