What I liked

I was a day surgery patient on Birchington Ward. Everyone was really helpful and caring from the minute I arrived to when I left that evening. You could tell staff were busy, some of it due to bad behaviour of patients. I was really impressed. The nurses thought of my needs and dignity, the theatre staff were friendly and jovial! and the nurse who stayed with me before surgery lovely. I can't fault the service and care at all.

What could be improved

Maybe some follow up after surgery before discharge would give piece of mind.

Anything else?

I was put in a sort of bed waiting ward but didn't mind - it was better than being left in a waiting room - at least I knew that I was being dealt with and looked after. The nurses were lovely.
