"The A&E nurse that delt with ..."

What I liked

The A&E nurse that delt with me, Patricia I think her name was, I was in so much pain she tried her best to eleviate the pain as quickly as possible even though she was busy with a patient with chest pains.

What could be improved

Having to wait 7 hours for the results of my scan was unacceptable, being told that i was too old to have an appendicitus was verging on age discrimination. Since leaving hospital I have discoverd other people older than myself having to have theirs removed and that i had all the classic symptoms.

Anything else?

The attitude of the ambulance technician that transported me from work to hospital, it was obviously that she did not want to do this, she was also surprised to see me still in the surgical ward in pain when she returned 4-5 hours later with another patient.
