"No follow up since cancer op at St Mary's, Portsmouth"

My husband had a cancer op in 2006. Then radiotherapy, taking up over a year of treatment at St Marys, Portsmouth.

His last appointment was Dec 2007, when he was told he'd have 6 monthly check ups, bloods and bone scans etc for the following 10 years.

Everyone we have spoken to has been going to St Marys Portsmouth for 6 monthly check ups, scans etc, since their ops. Yet my husband hasn't seen anyone since Dec 2007, despite calling the hospital to query this. As there were many mistakes during his treatment, etc, I'm concerned they are trying to lose him in the system.

We have called the hospital, written, and even gone to our GP, yet to date 2009 have had no communication from St Marys, is this how they fiddle the figures? At the cost of someones life?

If the cancer does come back I will be very angry and won't let it rest. Its not fair to anyone suffering like this. The worry is terrible for him not knowing if its growing somewhere again inside him.
