My elderly Mother was moved from ward to ward and ended up confused and hallucinating. She had four bed moves in as many days.
In the end we removed her from the hospital and she improved immediately. I have put in a written complaint and am assured it is on her notes and will not happen again. But this is the second time.
I am very concerned for all elderly patients who are shunted round like products on a conveyor belt.
