What I liked
The doctor was friendly and helpful
What could be improved
Better feedback from staff to update progress should have been given. As an ambulance admitted patient I should have been placed directly in a bay especially as my breathing was at risk. (I was placed near a frequently used entrance in a wheelchair getting really cold). Paramedics should have been more considerate especially as it was painful for me to talk.
The toilet requires regular maintenance and cleaning. Basic things like handwash and paper towels were missing.
Anything else?
Going to Leeds hospital was one of the most horrid experiences of my life. The place was filthy and the staff were nowhere to be seen. Patient care appeared to be an afterthought.
