"Broken bone problem at Countess of Chester"

I went to the Countess last month as I had a lump on my right hand, had it x-rayed and was told it was broke, so it was strapped up.

Went back the following tuesday to the fracture clinic, where i was told that as the lump was still there i needed to be admitted to have surgery, so i was starved from then until the following morning, when the surgeon came and told me it wasn't broken in the first place and therefore didn't need surgery.

What's going off with the Countess recently? It seems to be really bad. Don't get me wrong, the staff on the ward were great, just the surgeon and the A+E staff making mistakes.
