"Friendly, efficient and supportive!"

We arrived at the doors of the Wansbeck at 11am... within 30 minutes our daughter was born! During that small window of time we were dealt with in a calm manner, all staff were on hand as soon as her heart rate dropped. They handled the situation smoothly and with great professionalism! When all the important baby checks had been completed we were given family alone time... what a special moment! Of course staff were nearby to answer any questions, check if we needed tea or if I was in any pain! I was moved onto the ward later that evening and the hand over meant that I didn't need to repeat any information to the new staff. I was given lots of breastfeeding support and offered additional days in the hospital to give me extra confidence! Positive and kind staff from Dana the BF support to the cleaning staff and midwives! What a great job you all do every day! You might not get the thanks you deserve but you gave me the best birth I could hope for! :)
