I just wanted to comment that I visited the EPU after experiencing heavy bleeding. The sonographer confirmed I had miscarried, and my partner and I were then left to wait in the waiting room for 1.5 hours with 3 heavily pregnant women who were all chatting away excitedly about their pregnancies.

Although the nurse I saw was extremely polite, caring and very professional, having to sit with other pregnant women for such an extended duration, while my baby continued to bleed out of my body was a very hard thing to endure. A separate room/area for those of us losing a baby might be more appropriate, do you not think?!
