"These wonderful people ensure the best possible care is given"

About: New Cross Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My son arrived in ED with a badly broken jaw in the early hours following an assault in Wolverhampton Town Centre.

The care received from the Maxilo facial team and the staff nurse on ward A23 was outstanding. He underwent 4 hours of surgery to repair his injury and the care throughout from the theatre, recovery and ward teams made me realise just how hard these wonderful people work to ensure that the best possible care is given to both the patient and their family.

I live in Telford and have experienced the PRH in Telford both as a patient and as a relative and I have to say if I were to be admitted to hospital and had a choice of where I would receive my treatment then New Cross Hospital would certainly be my first choice. It has been a pleasure to deal with you and I thank you all very much on behalf of Myself and my son.
