"First baby"

The staff in PAU, Ward 11 and Delivery were at all times amazing. My pregnancy was very stressful and I suffer greatly from anxiety attacks and the staff were very sensitive to my needs. I feel that the midwives are stretched rather thin in Ward 11 and I know a few ladies felt they didn't receive as much attention as they would like. I decided to go to Hillcrest in Alnwick after my baby was safely delivered at the Wansbeck as there are fewer ladies and therefore the staff are able to be more attentive. I would like to stay a huge thank you also to the doctors who were amazing. My daughter was delivered by a wonderful midwife and student midwife ...thanks ladies and sorry for the grief I gave you before the pain relief kicked in. I recommend this hospital unreservedly.
