"Maternity services are excellent"

I gave birth to my first child at Darent Valley. From the antenatal care through to delivery and post natal care I have received the best care from genuinely supportive and caring staff which can be a rareity these days. The services offered are of high quality and being able to access courses such as hypnobirthing meant that I had the birth I wanted. I felt so confident and safe in the care of the staff at the hospital and did not encounter one member of staff that was not supportive or caring. All round I had a fantastic experience and cannot praise the staff across the service enough. I hope women will continue to have access to the excellent resources such as the antenatal courses as they are so invaluable and make such a difference to the birthing experience particularly for nervous and anxious first time mothers.
