"the midwife and a doctor was very nice"

About: Pontefract General Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

the midwife and a doctor was very nice

What could be improved

the food, most of the staffs attitude, clenliness, general repair, cleaner sheets, parking, parking,PARKING!!,visiting hours, medication being given out when needed instead of when staff can be bothered to give you it,a toaster that works,tv that works, facillities where you can eat rest and watch tv in piece, i could go on........

Anything else?

was in labour ward then transferred to ward 10,was left with contractions at only 36wks gone for hours, was put on a monitor then left.after nothing to eat after being there 8hrs was eventually sent to ward 10,was made to walk to get the dire food in pain another 4hrs after that i was then drugged up and again left all day.the staff never asked how i was.was scared to loose my baby and was upset knowing and hearing the babies crying in the very next room. i will not be going here to have my child and glad to be home
