"to be treated with dignity and ..."

About: Colchester General Hospital

(as the patient),

What could be improved

to be treated with dignity and respect, not shouted at by the consultant orthopaedic surgeon

Anything else?

if i had spoken to this surgeon or any other staff in the abusive loud manner in which i was spoken to, i would have been ejected by security. instead, i left the hospital immediately after this event. in hindsight, i guess that is what the surgeon wanted to be rid of my case from his list. i vow never to return to this hospital again

Thanks for contacting Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust.

Improving the patient experience has been identified as a top priority for the Trust and so I would welcome the opportunity to investigate your concerns.

Could you contact the Trust at info@colchesterhospital.nhs.uk so that we can investigate further. Please be assured that your email will be treated with strict confidence.

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest opportunity.
