"Eye clinic"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

Visited the eye clinic because iritis had flared up again. My appointment was for 4.15. I was seen at 6.30. The Doctor hardly spoke a word, and the prescription they gave was so badly written and so inaccurate, I had problems finding a chemist who would dispense the eye drops prescribed. When I went back for the follow up appointment, I saw a different Doctor, who told me off for 'incorrect use of the medicines'. Not impressed.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry to learn that your experience with the doctor on the day you visited our eye clinic was below the standard we would expect you to receive. Sadly we have no option but to give an external prescription after hours, and I can only apologise that the prescription was found to be eligible.
