I had to wait two hours for my appointment. Even when asked politely, the staff did not advise on waiting time and spoke sharply and with an unnecessarily rude edge. The plentiful signs in the hospital advise patients to be courteous in their interaction with the staff, which I always adhere to despite frustratingly long waiting times, but today the staff really should have applied their own rule to themselves. I understand that long waiting times result from the difficulties of managing so many patients but rudeness towards patients who are unwell, worried, delayed and polite despite this is, I is feel, neither acceptable nor merited. Also, when I was in the 'holding room' and the door was ajar, I heard said, quite audibly " I hate X students", which offended me.
"Very late appointment and disrespectful, unhelpful..."
