"Why do you make tv available?"
About: Broomfield Hospital Broomfield Hospital Chelmsford CM1 7ET
I am currently a patient in broomfield. The care I have received has been outstanding. But I have had to share a ward with one individual who has had his tv on, often at full blast, all day every day, seemingly ignorant (or uninterested) of the needs of his fellow ward residents. This is supposed to be a hospital. A place of recovery and recuperation. For the life of me I see no place for TV here. But if you do insist on making money from tv's, perhaps you could think about making more money by insisting that TVs may only be listened to via earphones...and sell earphones too. The fact that you don't and one person in one ward behaves just exactly how he wants (and sod everyone else), is having a deeply negative impact on my recovery and may well end up having a negative impact on the atmosphere of this ward. Perhaps you'd explain your policy.
