"Grateful thanks"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

I was admitted to Arrowpark Hospital with Acute cardiac failure at the end of July2014 and remained there on ward 33 for 5 weeks before being transferred to Broadgreen for a TAVI. Throughout my time there, I and my family were treated with the upmost care ,dignity and respect and much appreciate the kindness shown to us all over that long period. Thanks to that excellent care and also the skills of the staff at Broadgreen I am now making an great recovery from my operation.

We are very pleased that you are making a good recovery from your operation and thank you very much for your kind comments regarding staff on Ward 33. We are extremely grateful that you have taken the time to provide this feedback. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind sentiments to Ward 33. If we can be of further assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 432 0251, email wih-tr.pals@nhs.net or in writing to PALS, Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE.
