Dear Anonymous – thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you have been frustrated and distressed by your visit. Recent changes have been made to try and achieve a balance of access for all at the front of the new building and additional disabled spaces have been provided. A recent visit from BPAC (Bristol Physical Access Chain), recently took place, and they carried out a review via the route to the Brunel building from the Beaufort Car Park. One of the group used the shuttle bus and from their observations this worked well. The shuttle bus now runs 7 days per week, and runs until 9 p.m. and has wheelchair access. Another member of the group arrived by taxi and was dropped off at the main entrance, and this went again without any problems. The situation will improve with Phase 2 of the development, where many more disabled spaces will be available in a new multi-story care park with easy access on the same level as the entrance. Kind regards – Steve Sykes Advice and Complaints Team
