About: University Hospital Of North Durham

All of my antenatal care here has been excellent so far and my consultant is fantastic. We feel she really understands us and our baby's needs, is caring and very thorough. I had to attend ward 8 this week as my baby completely stopped moving (36+5). The nurse who tended to me was again fantastic, explaining everything and very reassuring (even when I felt like a right drama queen!). Again she was very thorough ensuring everything was fine before we left. Experience so far has left me reassured for the time I'll spend there in 2 weeks for my planned c section. I'm sure it'll be as positive as it has been so far.
