Incompetence is an understatement. Make sure you are their 24/7 if you have an elderly relative in the hospital... They are severely understaffed, and only a few of the nurses are really on the ball. We knew my father was going to pass away the day before the nurses and doctors did! The Macmillan nurse was shocked the staff did not contact her sooner.... Trust none of these so call professionals. Make sure you write what you see and find down. You must check the notes, as they will not keep them upto date. They will not feed or help you loved one, unless you are their to ensure they do! To be frank what I have seen at MKG is a travesty....do not trust any one.
