Recently I had occasion to seek treatment, following a fall in a supermarket, on Thursday August 28th, and I experienced excellent support and care. However, I had to return to A&E, on Saturday August 30th, as I tripped at home, partly because of being in pain from the earlier fall, when I suffered a hairline fracture of my pelvis, with severe internal bruising. This time I gashed open the lower shin of my left leg. I would like to thank, and praise the Senior Nurse, who was on Triage that day, but who also took on the dressing and care of my leg. He has been superb. Not only conscientious, and caring, but utterly professional. I cannot commend him to you, too highly. Nothing has been too much trouble to him. He is a most excellent nurse, a credit to his profession, but not only to himself but as an example of good practice, in your hospital. I could not have received better treatment anywhere, than I have received, during these two unfortunate episodes. How fortunate you are to employ a member of staff of his calibre. I remain, sincerely, Barbara J. Foster
