My husband collapsed at home in August and the speed with which the 999 operator arranged the ambulance, air ambulance and paramedics was exceptional, the crews who attended were very understanding and supportive and worked on my husband getting him to Musgrove Park Hospital as soon as he had been resuscitated. He was taken into A&E where again staff kept us informed of what was happening, checked we were ok, were supportive and understanding . He was later moved to ITU, where all the staff again were amazing making sure we knew what was happening and trying to make our horrible wait as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately my husband didn't make it, but all the doctors and nurses involved ensured we knew exactly what was happening, why and that we understood what was being said. Their support and comfort during the whole process really helped with such a shock to our family and they made sure we had all the information after he had passed to get more help if it was needed and made sure we knew what had to be done next. For their hard work and professionalism I will be eternally grateful, and would like to thank all the staff in all departments involved
"A massive thank you to all Ambulance, A&E, ITU +..."
