"Great confidence in the hopsital"

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

in September, my 12 year old daughter was taken into A and E by ambulance from Pershore Health Centre suffering with an asthma attack.

She was seen by 'Ian' in A and E who treated her with great care and he then transferred her to the children's ward.

She was in hospital for nearly a week as it was a particularly bad attack.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to every single nurse and doctor who treated her 24hours a day for her stay. I was with her for the duration and cannot express my thanks greatly enough to them. The dedication they had to their jobs was admirable. It's such a busy ward, they never stopped and were often writing up their notes well after their shifts had finished.

We were always made to feel very special, no one ever made us feel we were being a nuisance. My Daughter was particularly fond of Abby, Laura and Katie as even when she was feeling terrible, they made her smile. But that is not to say the other nurses weren't as helpful- they were all brilliant, and I'd like to thank them all so much for bringing her back to health. I don't remember the drs names I'm afraid, but their professionalism too was fantastic.

Whilst I hope my daughter never suffers another attack again, I would always have the greatest confidence in the staff if she was.
