"Update from disappointed, stressed & angry July..."

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

I had an appointment on the 18th September 2014. I was feeling apprehensive and disheartened about who l might be seeing. As soon as I saw the doctor in question whom I felt did not treat/assess me correctly, and also wasted my time, simply because they didn't take the time to listen or allow me to speak. I had a sinking feeling. the doctor was very rude and didn't give me the respect I felt l deserved the last time I had an appointment with them. When the doctor called me to their consulting room my heart sank. I then got the impression by their questions that they were aware that l had made a complaint. The doctor asked me if I would like to see someone else. I said I would see them if theytook the time to listen to me. We discussed and decided it was best I see someone else. I was quite relieved. I wasn't previously aware that I could see another doctor. I saw another doctor. The doctor introduced themselves, was approachable, friendly, asked me questions about my movement, assessed the area, informed me of exercises that I could do. The doctor's whole conduct was professional, reassuring and put me at ease.
